How can I find my course textbooks in the library?

Answer

To check if the library owns a book that you need for a class, start by navigating to the library website https://library.csus.edu/.

Click the link for Course Books at the Library as shown in the image below:

Alternatively, you can type the title of your textbook into the OneSearch search box on the library homepage and select Course Reserves from the drop down menu as shown in the image below.

You can also search by course name (e.g. CHDV), course code (e.g. CHDV 143), or professor's name.

If your search results display the item you are looking for, you can click on the title to check the availability.

To borrow the book from the library, bring the call number (the entire set of letters and numbers between the parentheses as seen in the image below) and your OneCard to the Library Service Desk located on the first floor.
