Can I write or edit my document in the Library?

Answer

Yes! Current students, faculty and staff with SacLink accounts can use Library computers which have production software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. If you log in with your SacLink identification, the software will be available. See campus Computer Labs for information on lab locations, hours, and available software.

The majority of these computers are on 2North (2nd floor, north side) in the Library 2000 Lab. Additional computers can be found on 3rd and 4th floors.

For guests and visitors who do not have a SacLink account, there are five Research Stations on the 2nd floor. While these computers do not have production software such as Microsoft Word, you can use freely available software such as Google Docs to write and edit papers. You will need to get a free Internet Access Card (photo ID required) at the 1st floor service desk that will allow you to use these computers up to two hours a day.
