How do I print?

Answer

For Sac State Students, Faculty and Staff

A wide variety of printing options are available.

Please see IRT's Printing page for complete details:

https://www.csus.edu/information-resources-technology/devices-printing/printsmart.html

Please be aware: There are currently NO printing/copying options available for non-affiliated patrons. Non-affiliated patrons can email documents or save documents to a thumb drive and print elsewhere.

Instructions for printing from a SacLink computer (i.e. a computer you logged into with your SacLink account) when you have your document open:

  • On the print menu, choose to print to either the Papercut BW or Papercut Color printer, depending upon the type of print you need.

  • Go to the PrintSmart device nearby (To pick up your color prints you must go to the Color PrintSmart station available in 2 north computer lab).

  • Swipe your OneCard through the reader, magnetic stripe down.

  • Find your print job in the list.

  • The cost of your print job will appear on the screen.
Note: Be sure the job cost matches what you expect. No refunds given for blank or unwanted pages.

Sac State students can print from their own laptops by using the web PrintSmart:
https://irt-papercut.saclink.csus.edu:9192/user?  OR select the appropriate instructions on this page to download PrintSmart printer drivers so you can print direct: https://www.csus.edu/information-resources-technology/devices-printing/printsmart.html

Printing from Guest Research Stations (i.e. the first six computers along the wall on the 2nd floor of the library) is not possible. SacLink computers have printing options for students, faculty, and staff.
