Can I check out a video to use outside the Library?

Answer

Sacramento State students, faculty, and staff can check out videos for 60 days unless the video is on reserve for a class. Community borrowers can check out videos for 3 weeks. 

To check out videos go to the 1st floor Library Service Desk.  Library personnel will assist you with retrieval and check out of the item.

To view videos in the library you can use the media viewing stations available throughout the Library.

To find checkout duration for any video, search the video in OneSearch then "sign in" and look at the duration listed under "Policy."

To find streaming videos online, current students, faculty, and staff can search the Library Streaming Media Databases.
