How to get a chapter of a book in CSU+

You can now request book chapters from the library’s resource sharing service CSU+. 

1. Go to OneSearch on the library's homepage and type in the title of a book in the search field.

If an item lists no location information for Sacramento State (i.e. it only says "Check Availability" or "Check Holdings at Other Campuses") click on the title of the book to get to the full record. 

 

2. On the full record, click "Sign in to get requesting options." The request link only shows if you are signed in.

 

3. Once signed in, you will see two offers to GET IT from other locations. One offer for the book, another for a chapter of the book. Select GET IT under the Need a chapter? offer.  

 

4.  A chapter request form will pop up. Complete the form as accurately and thoroughly as possible and click send.

 

5. You will get a Saclink email when your book chapter is ready for you to sign in and download.
