What if an item is missing from the shelf?
Answer
If an item is missing from the shelf or has a status of “missing” in OneSearch, there are two options: (1) ask staff to search for the item and notify you if the item is found; or (2) try to locate the item through other sources.
- Once the item is in a "missing" status on OneSearch, submit a Resource Sharing Loan Request.
- CSUS faculty and students are eligible for library accounts at UC Davis Library. An employee ID or a student ID and proof of current registration must be shown when applying. Contact UCD Library for more information on how to register.
- Your Local Libraries (Sacramento Public Library, Yolo County Library, State Library, etc.)
